WEAR AND TEAR

Nothing lasts forever, even though we wish it could! Products exposed to the elements and used frequently can show wear and tear faster than those used less frequently. Your product may simply have reached the end of its lifetime.

SNOWBOARD DAMAGE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

• ROCK DAMAGE AND ANY OTHER IMPACT RELATED DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
• YES predating (older than) the 2014/2015 product line. For example, 2013/2014 models and older are not covered under the lifetime warranty.
• Any intentional or unintentional damage caused by the rider’s carelessness, abuse, misuse, or neglect.
• Any type of impact damage such as those caused by rocks, stumps, rails, etc.
• Any damage caused by, related to, or resulting from modifications made after purchase and not authorized by YES
• Stress cracks in lacquer and non-structural cracks on used snowboards.
• Scratches, chips, and/or indentations in the top sheet.
• Graphic fading, discoloration, or other aesthetic blemishes that do not impair performance.
• Damages caused by abrasion/improper servicing. 
• Minor base irregularities, including base dimples in binding insert area.
• Damage caused by improper mounting or adjustment of bindings.
• Damages caused by using improper length of binding mounting screws.
• Improper rider-board match (i.e. too much weight on a too short board).
• Spinning or stripped inserts caused by improper mounting of binding hardware.
• Damages incurred in shipping.
• Damage caused from chairlift breakage.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by use of solvents, adhesives, or LOC-TITE®.

 

SNOWBOARD DEFECTS ACCEPTED FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

• YES models newer or from the 2014/2015 product line.
• Structural cracks and water infiltration on top laminate, base, core, or sidewall due to improper lamination.
• Top sheet, edge, sidewall, tip and/or tail protector delamination.
• Tip and/or tail radius lacquer cracks causing a loss of adhesion to top surface.
• Insert cracks, structural cracks, or water infiltration around the inserts.
• Spinning or stripped inserts (not caused by improper mounting of binding hardware).

BINDING LIFETIME WARRANTY FOR BASEPLATE / LIMITED WARRANTY: DAMAGE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

• Loss of mounting and assembly screws.
• Destroyed or stripped mounting or assembly screws due to use of incorrect screwdriver.
• Impact damage such as from rocks, stumps, rails, etc.
• Any damage caused by, related to, or resulting from modifications made after purchase and not authorized by #YES.
• Scratches, chips, and/or indentations in the bindings/straps.
• Graphic fading, discoloration, or other aesthetic blemishes that do not impair performance.
• Damage caused by improper mounting or adjustment of bindings.
• Damages caused by using improper length of binding mounting screws.
• Damages incurred in shipping.
• Damage caused from chairlift breakage.
• Damage caused by use of solvents, adhesives or LOC-TITE®.
